ISTANBUL (Reuters) ? Turkish markets rose yesterday, backed by buoyant overseas stock markets as investors looked to close the year in positive territory. The main Istanbul share index rose 1.37 percent to close at 39,138.18 points. The lira firmed 0.7 percent to 1.4150 against the dollar.
